Nozzle systems and nozzle lances for gas conditioning
Gas conditioning requires extremely fine droplets distributed as evenly as possible within the gas flow. The nozzle lances used in this application must be precisely matched to the requirements profile of the plant. Lechler offers a wide range of twin-fluid nozzle lances and spillback nozzle lances with different modes of functioning and characteristics.
VarioCool® complete system

With VarioCool®, Lechler is capable of supplying complete gas conditioning systems including nozzle lances, pumps, regulation units and electronic control units.
We have gained experience in numerous international applications through close co-operation between our design engineers and users and we use this to produce custom solutions in our project engineering and implementation work. Our customers benefit fully from this.
Lechler develops and supplies fully preassembled pumps, and open-loop and closed-loop control systems for spillback and twin-fluid nozzle systems. The convincing features of Lechler products and the associated supplier components are their long service lives, maintenance friendliness and a design tailored to the requirements of specific applications. The VarioCool® system has fully automated functions in all operating modes - start-up, shutdown and controlled normal mode. Its main features include low maintenance and economic energy consumption.
Lechler VarioCool® gas conditioning systems are used in the following processes:
Gas cooling / gas humidification
Cement works, waste incineration plants, coal-fired power plants upstream of electrostatic precipitators (ESP) or baghouses.
DeNox processes
In the SNCR process (high-temperature DeNox process) or SCR process (low-temperature SRC) in waste incineration plants or power plants.
Spray drying
In semidry flue-gas desulphurisation plants, e.g. in waste incineration plants
Spray adsorption
For flue-gas desulphurisation in small cogeneration plants.
Residual material vaporisation in furnaces,
e.g. in sewage-free waste and hazardous waste incinerators.

Twin-fluid nozzle lances
Lechler twin-fluid nozzle lances are successfully used in the following gas conditioning processes: DeNox downstream of NCR or SCR processes, spray drying, spray adsorption and atomisation of residual fluids in furnaces.
In many applications, gas conditioning requires extremely fine droplets distributed as evenly as possible within the gas flow.
Lechler has therefore developed special pneumatic atomising nozzle lances. They are available in numerous configurations.

Spillback nozzle lances

Lechler spillback nozzle lances are used in processes that are subject to continuous fluctuations in gas volume and gas temperature. Typical applications are production processes in the cement industry, waste incineration plants, LD converters or glass production processes.
